Foreigners who engage in lawful remunerated activities

This temporary visa subcategory is for foreigners who wish to temporarily settle in the country to perform lawful remunerated activities:

• Under subordination or dependency of an employer with domicile or branch in Chile. This permit is valid for up to two years, extendable successively for two years.

• With a formal job offer from a Chilean natural or legal person, formally accepted by the interested party. Once the temporary residence is approved, a 90-day Temporary Residence permit is granted. Upon entering the country, the interested party has 45 days to present the final contract, obtaining a one-year extension.
